The truth that Disney told about Goofy and Pluto
A few years ago, in a television interview Bill Farmer spoke and commented on the truth about the differences between Goofy and Pluto. This man is, nothing more and nothing less than, the dubbing actor who voices the green hat character.

In that interview, Farmer commented: “Pluto is a dog, but Goofy seems to be in the dog family in the same way as a wolf, It is not a dog but it also belongs to the dog family. I think Canis Goofus is the technical Latin term for what Goofy is.”

Although his response was just the key to clarify the famous doubt of fans of disney, there is another version about it. The latter was given by Animated Talk studios.

In the parallel version they claim that the first time a dog appeared on television it was with animal-like attitudes and received great support from the audience; this led to Pluto became a faithful friend of Mickey nothing else. This way, disney decided to continue with Pluto as a pet because that’s how it worked and, on the other hand, Goofy was left with the role of animal-human as they are Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy.
