I am the guy who will tell you all the latest news in film and television in 3DJuegos. I am passionate about science fiction, fantasy, superheroes and movie curiosities, those little behind-the-scenes stories of the directors and actors we have been following since we were little. My favorite saga? Star Trek. My favorite character? Superman, although lately a little more John Wick. One last thing, I promise not to bore you too much in my topics. LinkedIn

In 2025 it will be 40 years since the premiere of Enemigo mio, a science fiction film that was very little appreciated at the time but that, over time, managed to win the affection of the audience thanks to an anti-war and friendship message between different starring a human pilot and an alien stranded on a hostile and distant world. Now, Hollywood is working on the idea of a remake.

As we can read in THR, Terry Matalas, who may be familiar to you as the showrunner of the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard, has been recruited to write the script for this new version of the cult film. For now, he has not revealed names to take charge of his direction, much less for his leading cast. The 1985 film was led in the cast by Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett, Jr. with Wolfgang Petersen of director.

The filmmaker also behind The Neverending Story and Troy arrived at the project at the last minute, but knew how to weave a story of friendship and respect in which two members of two factions in the middle of a bloody war had to put away all their prejudices and start collaborating if They wanted to have a survival option. All this, also, with a small twist in the plot that made it more special.

Star Trek already reimagined this story in Enterprise

Personally, it is one of those movies that They marked my appetite for science fiction as a child, and I’m glad that a screenwriter acclaimed for his work on Star Trek is taking charge of the remake. In fact, in the science fiction saga they already reimagined this story. For example in Dawn, an episode from the second season of Star Trek: Enterprise where Tucker joins forces with an alien to try to survive.
