In an interview with the podcast Happy Sad Confused, Dave Filoni has not been averse to the idea of a production of Star Wars MPA R-rated and, in fact, he has highlighted that “not everyone is George Lucas.”

If the film’s success encourages other Disney divisions, such as Lucasfilm, it may not be that long before we see a truly mature project from Star Wars. There is interest on all fronts, of course.
