It is true that James Gunn and DC had already shown a first image of the new Superman, but it was so noticeable thought out and retouched that many were waiting for those who have arrived today. Because this day we woke up with a good number of snapshots of the filming of ‘Superman‘in which they are shown David Corenswet’s clothes in all their splendour and where their appearance and choice can finally be judged in good conditions. Filming is already underway because the film is not that far away in time. With James Gunn at the controls (the director of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’), its premiere is scheduled for summer of next year, and more specifically the August 11, 2025. Even so, little has been revealed so far about his argument, to say nothing except that will be greatly influenced by ‘Superman: The Four Seasons’a comic signed by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale in 1998.
David Corenswet’s physical change for ‘Superman’
A few weeks ago, and after more than six months training with Paolo Masciti, the fitness guru in hollywood, David Corenswet shared other images himself… but without a suit. The actor wanted to silence all the haters who criticized his choice as Superman and who said that the suit was too big for him. In them you could see him go from a slimmer presence to one more similar to that of Henry Cavill and with many extra kilos of muscle.
Recalling Hugh Jackman’s physical changes to play Wolverine, Corenswet’s dedication is obvious and has convinced many to give this new Superman a chance with which James Gunn intends to reboot the DC universe once again.
