It has been confirmed that the famous Marvel Comics sorcerer will return for the fifth installment of the Avengers saga. The fact was shared by Benedict Cumberbatch himself, an actor who has played him for eight years in the movies, where he assured that the film will begin recording next year.
This was consulted in a conversation with Netflix, where he recalled the roles that marked his career and provided interesting information regarding the long-awaited film. During the talk, the interpreter recalled when he was chosen to play Doctor Strange.
He commented that he first had to reject the role due to scheduling conflicts, but in the end everything was resolved, since Marvel insisted that he bring the iconic character to life. “It’s been a lovely relationship with Marvel since I was cast. “I’m really looking forward to seeing Avengers 5 next year, which is brewing up a storm.” Benedict said.
