Much – probably too much – has been said in recent months about the possible cameos that we will enjoy in ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’one of the most anticipated films of the year. While Taylor Swift’s presence remains a question mark, and despite Marvel’s assurances that she won’t be there, fans continue to speculate about it, we already have a 100% confirmed face-to-face: the one between Wolverine… and Sabretooth!

However, and surprisingly, when we might expect one of Logan’s (Hugh Jackman) biggest antagonists to be the one played by Liv Schreiber in ‘Wolverine: Origins’will finally be the one played by Tyler Mane in the first ‘X Men’. In this short but fun teaser, Wolverine and Sabretooth prepare to face each other for the umpteenth time while Deadpool can’t wait to get between them. This is this new preview shared by Hugh Jackman from his official X account:
“Stop bringing up my past,” Jackman briefly said on the social network, and everything points to the fact that Sabretooth will not be the only classic enemy that Wolverine will have to face again in ‘Deadpool and the Wolverine’. Precisely the role of the villain was Mayne’s debut, having since specialized in horror films, playing Michael Myers in the versions of ‘Halloween’ by Rob Zombie, as well as others like ‘The Devil’s Rejects’ (also by Zombie), ‘Victor Crowley’ either ‘Slayer’.
‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ premieres next July 26thwith confirmed cameos from Jennifer Garner (Elektra) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor), although there are many others rumored.
