Actors Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans have teamed up for the film Red One and we can now watch the trailer that will not leave you indifferent.
Hold on tight, because you’re going to see Dwayne Johnson like never before in his new film Red One, which is due out this Christmas. This story seems to be so absurd and action-packed that you’ll wonder if you’re watching a real trailer or a Saturday Night Live parody. How much did they pay Chris Evans to join this project?

The plot is crazy.
The Red One movie trailer opens with JK Simmons as Santa Claus, lifting weights with surprising ease. But Christmas is threatened when Santa is kidnapped from the North Pole, and Johnson as Callum Drift, the head of security for the ELF (Extremely Large and Formidable), teams up with Chris Evans as Jack O’Malley, a bounty hunter, to rescue him.
The pair form an unlikely comedy duo as they make their way through an adventure filled with action, humor and strange moments. Between CGI snowmen, a bipedal polar bear, and a huge, dark villain make the movie a wild Christmas rollercoaster.
The cast also includes Lucy Liu, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Kiernan Shipka, Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Wesley Kimmel. Directed by Jake Kasdanresponsible for the two Jumanji installments (2017, 2019) and Sex Tape: There’s Something Going On in the Cloud (2014). So we know what kind of absurd and exaggerated humor the Red One movie will have.
But the most shocking thing of all is that the budget is estimated to have been 250 million dollars. What a huge amount! On par with the best Star Wars, Marvel or DC Comics films, although the box office take may not matter much to them, since despite the fact that it will be released in theaters, it is a product for Prime Video.
The Red One movie will be released on November 15, 2024. That’s when we’ll find out if Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans have enough appeal to get people to go see this story in the theater or if they’ll wait until it hits the Prime Video streaming platform.
