That Taylor Alison Swift releases a new album is synonymous with breaking recordseven if they are the ones that already belonged to the singer from West Reading, Pennsylvania (United States).

Taylor Swift already had the record for most streams in a single day on Spotify, with her album ‘Midnights’, which on October 21, 2022 accompanied a second record for the North American: being the most listened to artist in a single day.
‘Midnights’, the album prior to the ambitious tour ‘The Eras Tour’, had reached 184.7 million streams on the day of its release. On October 27, 2023, when Swift released her version of the 1989 album, there was another record broken.
According to Spotify, with ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’, Taylor Swift became the performer with the most streams in a single day, once again surpassing her own mark. And the relaunch reached 176 million streams.
