“The Snow Society” was the big winner of the night at the Platinum Awards, with the largest number of nominations.
The ceremony took place in Mexico, in the Riviera Maya, and among the Argentine winners were Cecilia Roth and Andy Chango, the latter for the performance of Charly García in the series dedicated to Fito Páez.
Juan Antonio Bayona’s film was the winner of several categories in which it was shortlisted: the award for Best Ibero-American Fiction Film as well as Best Direction, Best Male Performance, Best Editing Direction, Best Cinematography and Best Sound Direction. accumulating 6 awards that made it the production with the most statuettes of the XI Edition.

In addition, Bayona’s film won in technical categories such as Best Editing Direction (Jaume Martí, Andrés Gil), Best Cinematography (Pedro Luque) and Best Sound Direction (Oriol Tarragó, Marc Orts, Jorge Adrados), in addition to the celebrated award for Best Male Performance won by Enzo Vogrincic.
