MEXICO CITY (apro).- After Madonna had Guillermo Rodríguez – the famous “Guillermo” from The Jimmy Kimmel Show – as a guest on her first date at the Palacio de los Deportes, and Alberto Guerra on the second, the Speculation for the next guests of the “queen of pop” has captured the spotlight.
“The Celebration Tour” at the Palacio de los Deportes is an experience in different senses, as Madonna notes in her presentation of the show in a brief space in the first act:
“I’m going to take you on a journey of my life, of dreams, fantasies, magic potions, imaginations, are you ready?! Are you ready motherfuckers?!…” and with this begins the tour of its four decades of personal and musical history on stage.
The journey of “The Celebration Tour” is divided into seven acts and 26 songs, and usually has four special guests: one is with his daughter Mercy James on the piano for the song “Bad girl” (who has shared her tour on her social networks for Mexico); with her daughter Stere for the song “Vogue”, who demonstrates dancing skills; the third is with her son David Banda, also a musician, in the song “Mother and Father.”
The fourth guest varies by country and is usually on the same “Vogue” theme. On the first night in Mexico City it was Guillermo Rodríguez, better known only as “Guillermo”, a figure from The Jimmy Kimmel Show who surprised many of the concert attendees.
For the second night, April 21, the guest was the actor of Cuban origin Alberto Guerra, an unexpected character. However, Madonna gave a preview when on April 15 she published the cover of the British magazine “Re-Edition” on her Instagram where she appears with the actor in her profile.
If it had not been clear who the man accompanying her was, on April 20, the first of five dates in our country, Madonna shared images from that magazine on her social networks, and the message “It’s very hot in Mexico!”
Guerra became a trend on social networks when she took the stage on the second night of “The Celebration Tour” during “Vogue”, which is why it is curious to know what guests Madonna will have for this April 23, 24 and 26.
On social networks there is speculation that Belinda and Danna Paola will be other figures who take the stage, but there is also talk of “Mhoni Vidente” and even Claudia Sheinbaum, so there is no certainty.
Today, the “Queen of Pop” is resting in Mexico, but she resumes her third date this Tuesday in a mega-production that includes three front screens, two on each side (that is, a total of four sides), a display of lights LEDs on the sides plus an LED “crown” that appears or disappears on the same stage. In addition, there is an “elevator” that the artist sometimes occupies, flying over to the center of the so-called “copper dome.”
The above without mentioning that the sound system fortunately is not lost in “echoes” inside the venue, despite the fact that the Palace was not specifically made to host concerts.
