The countdown to the awards ceremony Latin American Music Awards 2024 has already started. There are only a few hours left to enjoy the ninth edition of the American Latin Music Awards (or Latin AMAs), which will bring together the great figures of the moment in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA).
Under the motto We Speak Música, the winners of the 27 categories that make up this year’s list of nominated artists will be announced. A couple of weeks ago Univisión revealed the complete list of nominated artists. And in the 2024 edition we are going to attend a beautiful duel between two of the most popular artists of the moment: Feid and Peso Pluma.
The organization has presented the gigantic list of artists who will compete for the main candidates for these awards among a total of 76 artists who have been nominated in genres such as pop, urban, regional Mexican and tropical. Feid and Peso Pluma are the most nominated artists, being present in 12 categories such as Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Bad Bunny and Grupo Frontera follow closely behind with 11 chances of winning.
The female section is once again dominated by two Colombians who have marked a before and after in the Latin music scene: Shakira and Karol G. The one from Barranquilla and the one from Mellín share 9 candidates between them.
More than 30 artists have confirmed their presence to perform at the Latin AMAs 2024. The most important of the moment will be on stage: Thalía, Peso Pluma, Marc Anthony, Carin León, Nacho, AB Quintanilla, Morat, Justin Quiles, Lenny Tavárez, are just some of the names that have been announced.
The celebration will Thalía, Becky G, Alejandra Espinoza and Carlos Ponce as conductors and this year three Latin music figures will be honored. Banda MS and Ricardo Montaner will receive the Latin AMA Legacy for their career and achievements, while Yandel He will obtain the Latin AMA Pioneer for being one of the founders of the urban genre.

Feid has 12 nominations this year including Artist Of The Year and Song Of The Year.
One of the pioneers of reggaeton and Latin trap will perform alongside Peso Pluma with his most recent release Peso Completo. Archangel has managed to dominate internationally with tours and performances around the world and inspired a generation of urban artists. Thalía, the queen of Latin pop, will have the world launch of her new song for this special night in which she will also be the host alongside Alejandra Espinoza and Carlos Ponce.
