The night was full of great surprises, because Thalia and the Mexican actress Alejandra Espinoza were part of the co-hosts at the event, sharing the scene with Becky G and Carlos Ponce. They co-hosted the awards ceremony, which was presented in a mix of English and Spanish, with the hosts and presenters literally speaking half Spanish and half English at the same time. For some it was natural, for others not so much and, at times, it sounded uncomfortable.
One of the great moments of the Latin American Music Awards was when the MS Band and Carín León They conquered the audience with their interpretation of the hit song, “Closed eyes”. For its part, Featherweight and Archangel They sang their long-awaited collaboration, “Full Weight”.
And to the surprise of her fans, Thalía also sang, on this occasion she appeared on stage to accompany the classic “The Peak of Heaven”to Ricardo Montaner.
About RBD, it was Christian Chávez who received the award on behalf of his colleagues, “Thanks to the RBD generation… Thank you very much, thanks to the fans of Brazil as well, to the Latin people. We are the best and to the LGBTQ+ community We are here to remember that the past is the present,” he said.
