The pilot “Synchro U” will return as a regular show on KBS!
On June 17, a KBS source shared, “’Synchro U’, which aired two episodes as a variety show pilot, is confirmed to air as a regular show in the second half of the year.” They continued, “The official ‘Synchro U’, which will be updated with MC Yoo Jae Suk at the center, will be coming out. [al aire] soon. Please anticipate it.”
“Synchro U” is a music variety show that showcases cover performances sung by artists along with AI voices that have a 99 percent synchronization rate with those of real artists. The cast works to discern the 1 percent of the real artists’ voices while enjoying the fantastic covers.
The pilot initially aired twice in May featuring Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Juck, Lee Yong Jin, BTOB’s Yook Sungjae, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, and aespa’s Karina. The first episode also reached a high point of 3.6% in ratings, taking first place in variety shows in its time slot among viewers ages 20 to 49.
