KOZ Entertainment will strongly respond to malicious rumors about Zico.
On June 24, KOZ Entertainment released the following statement via Weverse:
Hello, we are KOZ Entertainment.
We confirm that numerous malicious posts and comments that defame, insult and circulate false information about our artist Zico have been published indiscriminately on various online communities and social media platforms.
In particular, malicious rumors and false information that were clearly proven to be unrelated to our artist have reached a level of severity that cannot be ignored, so we determined that it was urgent to take firm legal action against them.
Accordingly, we collected evidence from posts and comments from various online communities and social networks and filed a complaint with the investigating authorities. We plan to continue collecting evidence of malicious posts on a regular basis and file complaints periodically. Furthermore, we want to make it clear that the recent rumors related to the artist are also false and we will respond firmly to them as well.
We will take strict action against authors of malicious posts based on evidence collected through fan reports and our own monitoring to protect the rights and interests of the artist. Even if it takes time, we will hold them accountable until the end. There will be no leniency or compromise under any circumstances.
