Last month the launch of a new deluxe box set from Mind Gamesthe fourth solo album of John Lennon after the breakup of the Beatles. Now, and to anticipate this publication, they shared a new music video for “Aisumasen (I’m Sorry)”, which features Never-before-seen footage Lennon took in 1973 with a Sony Portapak camera.

In the audiovisual recording taken by the musician, Various places and situations from their daily lives appear: the Dakota building in New York, where he had just moved and would later be murdered; Central Park across the street, and his wife Yoko Ono giving a telephone interview.

According to a press release (via Rolling Stone), the recording that accompanies this new video clip is the new “final mix” of the song, which will appear on the aforementioned and upcoming box set of Mind Games when it comes out on July 12.

The commemorative box, titled The Mind Gamesincludes “final mixes” of all the album’s tracks, as well as additional alternatives. They also detailed that there will be outtakes, rough mixes and an “evolution documentary” of the songwriting process.
