What do you want to do with Concordia public radio? – Political Page

The block of councilors of Together for Change of Concordia presented a project to intervene, in some way, Citizen Radiowhich is broadcast on 89.7.

The draft ordinance eliminates the autarchy of the Public Radio Management Body to create an “administrative commission”, dependent on the Municipal Executive Department.

The project – to which you had access Policy Page– says in its recitals that “the Management Body of Concordia Public Radio has completed a cycle, proof of this is that it has been virtually decimated in its operation.”

And he adds: “Radio continues to be one of the means of mass communication that any citizen has available, simply, free and in real time; and yet in this case it is not being used adequately as an informative medium and in favor of the dissemination of local cultural and artistic expressions, of sports practice or the promotion of tourist areas and attractions, among other aspects.”

This Thursday afternoon, a strange event occurred. Councilmen Felipe Sastre (PRO), Mauricio Rey (UCR), Javier Antonio Aguilar (La Libertad Avanza), the vice-mayor Magdalena Reta de Urquiza (PRO), and two notaries appeared at the studios to verify the furniture. It turns out that the radio station was inventoried months ago and the mayor Francisco Azcué had access to that information when he took office. This Friday, one of the notaries appeared again: Romina Lagadari.

The administrative committee will be led by a board of directors composed of a president, a director, a secretary and a treasurer appointed by the Executive; members who will represent each block in the Deliberative Council; and an auditor, who will be a representative of the Deliberative Council.

The proposal, although it was presented by the bloc, was authored by Councillor Rey, who is part of the internal line of Deputy Marcelo López.

In the previous administration, when the Executive Alfredo Francolini was in charge, Gustavo Guaglianone was appointed as director, an amateur who had nothing to do with Peronism and who – according to what is agreed in the local media community – did not go down a certain line. Below is a report by Policy Page:

The ordinance was stopped in the session this Thursday, where it was intended to be approved on the spot with a majority of Juntos. Finally it was passed to the commission. The four PJ councillors request that the sources of employment be respected. This is what they intend to modify and guarantee in the project, which establishes that the radio station will operate with only four workers.
