Havana – The II International Medical Tourism and Wellness Fair will promote health services to improve the quality of life and solve conditions for those who decide to travel to Cuba, Yamila de Armas Águila, president of the Services Marketing Company, said in a press conference. Cuban Doctors.
This event, to be held from April 21 to 25, 2025 at the Pabexpo fairgrounds, will allow the new product portfolio to be shown, exchange experiences in the form of health tourism, with the presence of the national network made up of 13 branches, five international clinics in Havana, 48 international medical care rooms, three health centers and anti-addiction villages, nine clinics in tourist centers, six thermal centers and spas, 68 pharmacies and ten international opticians, the directive noted.
Another purpose is to learn from similar experiences in this field and consolidate alliances because the Cuban nation inspires and heals, and also has the strength of the Health System, hence the importance of reviving and relaunching medical and wellness tourism, he commented.
According to Armas Águila, the main objective will be to make Cuba the preferred destination in the world, which is why within the fair itself a theoretical seminar on this topic will be held to analyze trends and implement innovative services on the rewarding path to healing.
He also reported the holding of the III Foreign Investment Forum in Health to coordinate investment processes with foreign capital, as established in Law 118, with a renewed portfolio to acquire development sources for the health sector.
For the second time, the Medical Tourism and Wellness Award will be presented, dedicated to prominent personalities, institutions, organizations and media, both Cuban and foreign.
