The final design of HONOR’s first “clamshell” folding can now be seen on video

HONOR seems to have its first folding phone ready with a “clamshell” design, it would be the HONOR V Flip and that it would be intended to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 that will be launched later this year. Of course, in both cases they are phones that have not come to light.

But, unfortunately for the Chinese firm, the HONOR V Flip it just leaked in a video where it has been possible to know in detail the supposed design with which it will land on the market. In fact, the only thing that is still kept secret are the specifications with which it will try to compete in the folding sector.

In general terms, the HONOR V Flip will have Magic as its first name, so it would be the HONOR Magic V Flip. In the video it is seen that, at least, one variant of the device would have collaboration with the fashion designer Jimmy Choo to offer a more elegant and careful design.

In fact, in the video you can see references to jewelry and a luxury aesthetic. The finish that has been seen is in gold for the entire chassis, while the rear would have a green color with shiny elements that make it look like a kind of galaxy.

Despite not showing too many details about the screen or the hinge, thanks to several frames it has been possible to know that this would allow the HONOR Magic V Flip to close completely and not offer no gap between the screen once folded.

There would be two rear cameras, in addition, it would seem that one would have a considerable size, so we may be looking at a foldable that risks mounting a sensor with a size typical of the high range. The area where these cameras would be housed would also serve as a screen.

The size of this external screen is unknown, although HONOR may have decided to make this entire area become a screen, which would be an interesting advance and would put this device ahead of the competition.
