Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis They are finally back together on set, as disney released a first look behind the scenes of the production of Freaky Friday 2, which is now officially filming. Lohan and Curtis reprise their roles as Anna and Tess Coleman, respectively.

Disney has yet to announce plot details for the sequel to the 2003 comedy favorite, but the studio has now confirmed that Freaky Friday 2 will hit theaters in 2025. Curtis first sparked interest in a second Freaky Friday movie when he told “The View” portal in October 2022 that he had “personally written to Disney” about his desire to make the sequel. The original film’s producer, Andrew Gunn, returns for the sequel along with former Disney executive Kristin Burr.
