As explained by the authorities, a cabin on line K collapsed when coming from Santa Domingo, and fell from a height of about 10 meters. The authorities immediately helped the injured, but Jhon Jairo did not survive the fall and died when he was transferred to a medical center in the capital of Antioquia.
The authorities explained that this man was transferred to the CES Clinic along with another victim, a 21-year-old woman.
The professionals at the hospital tried to revive Jhon Jairo Londoño, but he ended up dying.
According to a statement from the CES, “the male patient was admitted with multiple traumas, he was treated in the Emergency Department, but he died due to the severity of his injuries.”

“He had the 6 in the morning shift, that’s why he took the first metrocable that left to be on time at work,” said a close friend.
Jhon Jairo left his house in Santo Domingo El Pinar at 3:30 in the morning to take the first subway route that would take him to work on time when the events were recorded.
Regarding his life, it was known that he was the father of three children and that he also took care of a 3-year-old nephew. He had also been working for about 15 years for the same company where he worked in cleaning and other jobs.
“He was a friend, a hard-working person who wanted to get ahead. He lived there at kilometer 7 of the road to Guarne and always walked half an hour from his house to take the Metrocable, he never took any other means of transport. He was humble, very responsible. Especially in his house. Unfortunately that happened and it is something that leaves one disconcerted,” said the person close to him.
