The general director of Culture of the Government of Aragon, Pedro Olloqui, has attended this Thursday afternoon the opening ceremony of the X Book Fair and the Teruel comic. The writer Luis Zueco has been in charge of reading the proclamation that begins a contest in which more than 45 authors and 25 exhibitors participate and that will take place until May 11 in the roundabout, the Government of Aragon reported in a press release.
In these three days the public can find authors such as Carmen Mola, Juan Manuel de Prada, Espido Freire, Reyes Calderón, Blue Jeans, Cristina López Barrios, Rosario Rare, Julio César Cano, Nagore Suárez, Desirée Ruiz, Aurora Beltrán de Tahures left Bolea, José Luis Melero, among others.
The exhibitors of the Fair this year are School Bookstore, Perruca-Sonda, Biblos, Tilos, Zombies and Princesses, the kingdom of the setback of Andorra, Institute of Turolenses Studies, Prames, Gara d’Edizions, Books of the Black Cat, GP editions, books of the unnameable, without head, hello monster, bad life (comic), taula, xordic Acrotera, Onagro, presses of the University of Zaragoza, Olifante and Tervalis.
An exhibition booth dedicated to the tenth anniversary of the contest has also been installed and commemorated, in collaboration with Caja Rural de Teruel and the Buñuel Calanda Center, the 125th anniversary of the birth of Luis Buñuel with a house specialized in books, scripts and correspondence of the Calanda genius.
For the first time, the fair has been invited to a national editor of recognized prestige or that is highlighting for a differential facet. In this case it is the Alma de Madrid publishing house, for its work in the recovery of the classics in contemporary and enlightened versions.
