The Book Fair starts in Santurtzi

Reading lovers have an appointment in Santurtzi, where the Book Fair is inaugurated on Friday. Until next Sunday 18 attendees can visit a dozen positions with proposals of all kinds: fantasy, terror, historical novel, romance, child, Basque, etc. In addition, on weekends there will be a signature of authors, including the writers of Santurtzi, who return to their own stand.

The fair will open from 11.00 to 14.00 in the morning and from 5:00 p.m. to 8.30 pm in the afternoon. This year, at the local level, the exhibition ‘Urtemugak: Lauaxeta ETAsti’ and the new book ‘Santurtzi, a Nine Centurious Journey’ stand out, a collection of stories about the municipality written by the association on the occasion of the 950th anniversary. Those who acquire it will enter a raffle to get a bag designed by Hala Bazan with the cover of the book.

As in previous editions, and organized by the town’s municipal libraries network, among the people who make purchases at the fair, four lots of books valued at 60 euros each – two for adult and two children’s public will be raffled. To participate, it will be necessary to present the purchase ticket next to the Local Network card in the Central Library before May 21. The draw will take place a day later, at 12 noon, in the children’s section of the library. In addition, a 10% discount will be applied to editorial novelties throughout the fair.
