The minister added that “it is a different book fair” in which students get involved and show the domain of knowledge about language.
From May 12 to June 13 in all schools in the country, book fairs will be held, an initiative that is part of the school calendar and that seeks to promote reading and writing, Minister Héctor Rodríguez reported Friday.
He added that with these fairs it seeks to “form truly free, autonomous and reflective citizens that contribute to the construction of a prosperous country.”
“I want to invite you to the celebration of the Book Fair 2025 in all our educational institutions. We have designed a didactic guide as support for the development of this special project; we believe it will be useful to follow it, as well as its annexes,” Rodriguez said in his Telegram channel together with the material for teachers.
The minister added that “it is a different book fair” in which in each course students with their teachers get involved and show the community the domain of knowledge about language.
Girls, boys and young people from initial education will participate in this proposal, as well as the teachers of each school institution, he also said.
It should be noted that educational skills and science, reading stories, as well as cultural activities will be carried out at the fairs.
