Scotiabank announced this week the appointment of Robert Williams as the new general manager of his operation in Panama, a position he will assume as of May 2, 2025; In turn, he will continue in his functions as a senior vice president for Central America and general manager of Scotiabank in Costa Rica.
This designation reflects Williams’s solid trajectory within the bank and in the financial industry. With more than 20 years of experience in the sector, he has held various leadership positions within Scotiabak: from 2011 to 2015 he served as general manager of Scotiabank Panama, later, he was appointed CEO and country head in the Dominican Republic (2015-2018) and from 2018 to 2021 Bank, in Canada. In April 2021, he assumed the role of senior vice president for Central America and CEO of Scotiabank Costa Rica.
