The Undersecretary of Public Security, Rafael Collado, informed that Crimes that affect people over 65 increased by 57.9%especially after the entry into force of the law regulating bank card frauds.

Regarding homicide, the Undersecretary reported that between 2018 and 2024 there was a total of 558 elderly victims of consummate homicide.
