The balance
In the presentation of the oil balance of the Colombian Chamber of Petroleum, Gas and Energy, Campetrol, of the second semester of 2024the balance of hydrocarbons production in Colombia was shown last year. The results account for a 9.5% national gas production drop in contrast to an increase in imports of 166.4%.
Energy resource imports had a growth of 166.4% in twelve months, after having brought from Trinidad and Tobago and the United Statesmainly, 214.1 million cubic feet (MPCD), compared to 80.3 MPCD of 2023.
