Netflix’s “You” series is a psychological thriller focused on Joe Goldberg (played by Penn Badgley), a man with obsessive and psychopathic trends that is dangerously obsessed with different women throughout the seasons, who will have his expected final with the premiere of his last season.

Joe Goldberg returns to New York. After the events of the fourth season, where he had apparently achieved a life of relative normality with Kate, his past and his dark desires will lurk him again, endangering his “perfect life.” This final season is expected to explore the definitive consequences of their actions and offer a closure to the history of Joe.

New characters
The incorporation of new characters that will add complexity to the plot in this last installment was announced. Among them is Bronte (Madeline Brewer), an enigmatic playwright who will connect with Joe through his work in the bookstore. Some known characters are also expected to return.
The final season will have new showrunners, Michael Foley and Justin W. Lo, who have already worked as executive producers and screenwriters in previous seasons.
