Spain celebrates from May 5 to 9 the multinational exercise Eagle Eye 2025-02a great deployment of the three branches of the Armed forces —Earth Army, Air and Space Army, and Navy– Under the operational command of the OPERATING COMMAND (MOPS). This activation seeks to integrate capacities for presence, surveillance and deterrence in the national Air defense System and develops in various areas of the Atlantic Galician coast, with special prominence in the Barbanza region.
The exercise is coordinated by the Air operational command and controlled by the Operations commandin order to improve interoperability between the units of land, air and the Navy.
The logistics support base of the exercise will be the Air Surveillance Squad number 10 (EVA 10), located on Mount Iroite, in the Sierra de Barbanza, at the confluence of the municipal terms of Lousame, Boiro and Porto do they are all located in the province of La Coruña.
