Grupo Firm gave a clue of what would be his second album in May 2024, when he launched “the benefit of doubt” showing greater maturity in its sound and interpretation. Almost a year later, the Band of Tijuana launched on Thursday (May 8) the expected LP, appropriately entitled Evolution.
“We have achieved things we never imagined,” says his leading vocalist, Eduin Caz, Spanish Billboard. “We started in night clubs And we have filled stadiums. Today we want to show another firm group face without leaving our essence, but above all enjoy what we do. ”
Released under its Music Vip Entertainment and distributed by Virgin Music, Evolution He arrives from the hand of “At the Umpire”, an issue in which the essence of the Mexican Regional Group is felt, although with more orchestrated sounds. “In an argument you will never beat a woman. -The 14 theme set includes collaborations with Mexican regional stars such as Carolina Ross and Joss Favela, but also has the iconic pop singer Gloria Trevi, who along with Jhonny Caz (third voice) makes a delicious dumbbell in the anthem of despite “Sufrele”.
“The duet with Mrs. Gloria Trevi is something phenomenal,” says Eduin Caz, adding that they have “a very beautiful relationship with her” and that “the recording in the study was very fun.”
Ross accompanies the group in “I still love you”, transporting us with its sweetness to romanticism that can also show a genre that is not only runs. The lyrics, by Horacio Palencia, is the cherry of the cake: “I feel a knot in my throat/ is the ‘I love you’ that I want to tell you/ that’s why we are already talking clear/ I must say that I am still in love,” he says.

An additional surprise: “In a month we will be uncovering a bonus track With Grupo Frontera, ”reveals exclusively without providing details. This would be the second collaboration of both groups after“ the love of his life ”, which spent four weeks in No. 1 of the Mexican Airplay regional list of Billboard in 2023.
