The construction of more than 70 thousand homes is contemplated
An investment of 80 billion pesos is projected
Under the slogan that decent housing is not a privilege, but a right, the State of Mexico will be the entity with more national resources for these support, when contemplating the construction of more than 70 thousand homes, said the DIP. Juan Hugo de la Rosa García.
The foregoing, after President Claudia Sheinbaum started to the Housing Improvement Program for Welfare in the East of Edomex, where 10 municipalities converge with around 10 million inhabitants, so an investment of 80 billion pesos has been projected, thus becoming the entity with more resources at the national level for these supports.
The Dip. Juan Hugo de la Rosa recalled that the vision of the housing improvement program prioritizes vulnerable groups, including single mothers, young people, older adults, people with disabilities and members of the original peoples who require a decent home.
It is noteworthy that the first 16,200 cards were delivered: 4,200 in Los Reyes La Paz with an investment of 168 million pesos (MDP), as well as 6 thousand cards in the municipalities of Chimalhuacán and Nezahualcóyotl, respectively, representing an investment of 240 MDP each.
The above consists of a support of 40 thousand pesos so that the beneficiaries invest in improvements, repairs or extensions of their homes, that is, that everyone decides the way in which they will invest the resources for the improvement, repair or expansion of their homes, he said.
The Dip. Juan Hugo de la Rosa, during his speech at the Plenary Session of the Chamber of Deputies, celebrated the decision of enormous importance of President Claudia Sheinbaum, by determining the construction and provision of one million new homes during the current sexennium with a clear social orientation in favor of the most unprotected sectors of the population, indigenous peoples, women and working people.
This decision is intended to intervene in market relations and modify the conditions of exclusion that have been affecting the population, from a perspective of clear social responsibility, he added.
