According to the note, on May 9, the day of the parade for the 80 years of the victory of the Soviet Union in the Great Homeland War, the Russian leader spent more than 14 hours communicating with high -ranking foreign guests.
Putin celebrated large -scale negotiations with the Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, and the Chinese president, Xi Jinping, as well as eight bilateral meetings with the leaders of Brazil, Egypt, Congo, Cuba, Mongolia, Serbia, Slovakia and Uzbekistan.
He also had brief conversations “on the march” with the guests to each of the official acts dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Homeland War.
In addition, ceremonial receptions were held in the Alejandro Hall of the Great Palacio del Kremlin and in the Granite Chamber.
The foreign media accredited for the celebrations of May 9 recognized that the victory parade in Moscow, which brought together 30 foreign leaders, showed the world that Putin “is not alone.”
International publications covered the celebrations of Victory Day in Moscow and highlighted the importance of celebrations and the presence of foreign guests.
