The president of the United States, Donald Trump, warned that he is unhappy with the Russian bombings on Ukraine and demanded Vladimir Putin, to stop them.
“I am not happy with Russian attacks on kyiv. Unnecessary and in a bad time. Vladimir, Enough!”, Wrote Republican president in his social Truth network. “5,000 soldiers die per week. Let’s get the peace agreement!” Trump added in his message.
Serious attack against kyiv
The American president condemned the Russian attack with missiles and drones launched on Thursday (24.4.2025) against kyiv, one of the most serious in recent months.
According to Ukrainian sources, our people died and more than 70 were injured in various districts of the Ukrainian capital, in which residential and commercial buildings were destroyed, although Russia’s Ministry of Defense denied having attacked civil objectives.
-Crimea in dispute
Since Trump returned to power in January with the promise to end the Ukraine War, there have been few samples of frustration towards the Russian side like today, compared to the criticism constant to the Ukrainian President, Volodimir Zelenski.
On the eve of this last attack, the Republican again accused Zelenski of putting obstacles to peace negotiations for his sharp refusal to recognize as Russian territory to the Crimean Peninsula, occupied since 2014.
According to US media, this recognition would be one of the demands that the White House made to Ukraine within its peace plan proposal.
