The Palestinian civil defense reported this Saturday from 17 dead for Israeli bombings that occurred in the morning in the Gaza Strip, including 10 people who died in a house reached by an attack that also left victims under the debris.
The deadliest bombing took place at dawn on a family home in the Al Sabra neighborhood, south of the city of Gaza, in the north of the Palestinian enclave, the same source said.
“There are ten martyrs (deceased) and around 20 missing people after the bombing in the house of the Khur family,” a responsible for this rescue organization, Mohamed al Mughair told AFP, based on neighbors testimonies.
Images of the AFP in the place show Palestinians cutting, with the help of flashlights and a circular saw, the metal structure of the building and removing at least one body from among the rubble.

«We all slept. Without any notice we saw how the house came over us. There were shouts and those who could breathe asked for help, but no one came, ”said a family member, Um Walid al Khur.
“Most of the victims are children, died from suffocation because of the bombing,” he added.
The Israeli army did not comment on.
The war broke out on October 7, 2023 for Hamas’s attack against southern Israel, which resulted in the death of 1,218 people, mostly civilians, according to an AFP count based on official data.
Islamist militiamen also kidnapped 251 people. Of these 58 are still in the strip, although the Israeli army gives 34 of them for dead.
The Israeli offensive in Gaza left 51,439 dead in that territory, according to data from the Ministry of Health that the UN considers reliable.
