RAC1 turns 25, having a good time

RAC1 has celebrated this Thursday the exact day of its 25th anniversary with a Tibidabo party with the listeners and a special program presented by Anna Vallhonese. The corporate colors of the radio, red, black and white, have filled the attraction park, just below the Collserola tower, from where the FM waves are distributed every day, the transistor that last Monday became essential with the general blackout and that once again demonstrated the communion of the emission with the listeners. As his first director, Eugeni Sallent, one of the great hits of RAC1, who has made history with 1,001,000 followers, is that everyone – workers, collaborators and listeners – once they put on the shirt they never take it out.

The celebration has served for the team and listeners to do what has defined RAC1 these 25 years: to have a good time doing and listening to radio. The party has started a few minutes after 10 in the morning, with the editors being in the Francesc Macià square in Barcelona to get on a historical bus of TMB.
