Madrid, May 3 (EFE) .- Fourteen people have passed away and ten have been injured in diverse consideration in the eleven mortal accidents recorded on the roads since the beginning of the May bridge on Wednesday and until 20:00 on Saturday, as a spokesman for the General Traffic Directorate (DGT) has advanced to Efe.
The mortality balance has varied considerably with respect to that of eight o’clock on Friday afternoon (seven deaths and eight injured in the seven fatal accidents since the beginning of the operation) since the data of others that had not yet been counted or that happened after that time happened.
It is an accident that took place near Plasencia with four deaths and another in which one person died and another was slightly injured in the Madrid town of Daganzo from above.
These have been incorporated into the only deceased that was initially in an accident in Mijas (Málaga) that cost the life of a 28-year-old motorist when circulating through the A-7, so that the figures of the accident rate due to accidents on Friday increased drastically by adding in that day three fatal accidents, six deceased and a slight injury.
During the Saturday, until 8:00 p.m., two more fatal accidents have been registered with one deceased in each of them: one at the height of Gargallo (Teruel) in which a person has also been injured and has been hospitalized, and another in the Asturian town of Cangas de Onís.
On Thursday, four claims were recorded in which four people died and seven were injured, four of them seriously. The most serious of them occurred in Mallorca, on the Pollença Al Port de Pollença road, between a line bus and a group of cyclists.
In the late afternoon, a driver of a vehicle that circulated on the CV-01 at the height of Minaya (Albacete) also died.
And on Wednesday, since the operation began and until midnight, there were two dead and one serious injury in two fatal accidents, in El Toboso (Toledo) and in Sandiás (Ourense).
Traffic asks drivers to extreme caution when taking the steering wheel in these circumstances with orange alert due to heavy rains that affect ten autonomous communities.
The only road that records retentions of consideration for the return of the bridge is the A-1 to the vicinity to the entrance of Madrid of Kilometer 42 to 37. There is, however, some complication in different parts of the A-4 and in the A-4 for breakdowns or accidents.
The special operation of the DGT concludes on Sunday and until the end are expected to take 7.5 million trips. EFE
