The was developed within the Integral Vaccination Intensification Plan.

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPS), culminated the celebration of immunizations 2025, a day that took place from April 12 to May 4.

He achieved the administration of 271 thousand 582 doses of vaccines, benefiting 191 thousand 299 people throughout the territory reported portal of the institution.

More than 5,000 vaccination points strategically located in emblematic schools in the country were activated for this initiative, which was oriented to immunize the most vulnerable qualified in children from 2 months to 6 years, schoolchildren, pregnant and indigenous population.

The day was developed within the Integral Health Vaccination Intensification Plan, which was attended by more than 10,000 vaccinators and 5,400 vaccination nationwide.

Through the Expanded Immunization Program (PAI), essential vaccines such as the pentavalent, oral polio, inactive polio, antiamarilic (yellow fever), toxoid and SRP (measles, rubella and clippartitis) were offered.

Vaccination points

The five states with the highest number of doses applied were Carabobo 35 thousand 978, Miranda 24 thousand 385, Táchira 20 thousand 270, Zulia 18 thousand 350 and Bolívar 15 thousand 522, demonstrating the scope of the program in the most vulnerable regions.

In this sense, Dr. Yerika Alzolay, Single Health Authority of the Monagas , stressed that “in our state the vaccination teams, remained in the communities, and strategic points to guarantee access to each biological to the population susceptible from 2 months to 10 years.”

Ms. Clareth del Nogal, coordinator of the PAI of the Guárico state, said that the teams were deployed in different sectors, both rural and urban, with the purpose of offering protection to the child population against vaccine preventable diseases.

It should be noted that the Expanded Immunization Program “Health goes to ”, facilitated access to the prioritized population and contributed to the maintenance of vaccination achievements.

This program complemented the capture of children in the Initial Education Centers (CEI), establishing a vaccination post in each center, which required a detailed planning in all areas of Comprehensive Community Health (ASIC).

Additionally, vaccination points in public squares, institutions, comprehensive diagnostic centers (CDI), ambulatory and popular offices were enabled, guaranteeing wide coverage and easy access for the entire population.

The Directorate of Immunizations, led by Dr. Nuris Valderrama, under the supervision of the Vice Minister of Collective Health Networks, Jesús Osteicochea, coordinated this work, following guidelines of President Nicolás Maduro and Health Minister Magaly Gutiérrez.
