


A spectacular road accident on Tuesday night left material damage, a gas leak and two people with minor injuries, after a shock with projection at the intersection of independence and progress streets.
The incident occurred when the driver of a Nissan Sentra Color vehicle omitted the stop when crossing Independence Avenue, hitting a white -tornado chevrolet truck that circulated from south to north through the aforementioned route. The strong blow caused the truck to be screened towards a hamburger position located in the corner, damaging part of the structure and breaking a line of gas connected to the establishment.
As a preventive measure, elements of the Municipal Police cordoned off the area, while Fire Department personnel went to the place to control the gas leak, avoiding a higher risk. The circulation was temporarily closed both on Independence Avenue and on Progreso Street, until the situation was completely controlled.
Road police took note of the accident and carried out the corresponding expertise. Both drivers presented minor injuries, without their transfer to a hospital.
Authorities called to respect traffic accusations, especially in areas with high vehicular flow, to prevent accidents of this type.
