Five young people were intercepted by the police on the night of Tuesday, May 6 in the town of Wanda, after trying to escape during a preventive operation. One of them carried a loaded firearm, which was seized by the agents.
-The incident occurred around 23:00 in the Centro neighborhood, where troops performed night patrols. When observing the police presence, the group fled and tried to hide among the weeds, which motivated a persecution.
Minutes later, the agents managed to surround and detain three young people between 18 and 19 years old, and took two 15 and 16 year old teenagers. During the requisition, they kidnapped a 22 -caliber firearm, with six cartridges inside, which one of those involved carried with him.
By judicial provision, the three major were housed in the police agency, while the minors were delivered to their parents to keep and care. The seized weapon will be subject to expert opinions by the Scientific Police to advance the investigation.
