Civil Protection has launched an urgent alert to the weather forecast that announces intense and potentially dangerous rains for the next few hours. The notice, disseminated during the morning of today, points out that practically the entire territory could be affected by rainfall that, in some cases, could widely overcome the usual thresholds, generating a particularly high risk situation.

According to the Meteorological service of Catalonia (SMC), from this noon to Friday afternoon, rainfall episodes could be recorded with an intensity greater than 20 liters per square meter in just 30 minutes.
