A hard drive found in 2016 in an abandoned factory owned by Christian Brueckner, the main suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCannIt contains elements that reinforce the hypothesis that the British girl was killed shortly after her disappearance in 2007. The finding, which just transcends publicly, is part of the key evidence that promotes the criminal case in Germany against Brueckner.
According to British media as The Sunthe 80 GB device and a laptop stored images and archives that would have convinced German prosecutors of the child’s death. The factory, located in Saxony-Anhalt and acquired by Brueckner in 2008 by 20,000 pounds, also contained disturbing objects such as clothing and children’s toys, masks, weapons and chemicals.
Although the information circulates with caution due to the reserved nature of the judicial process, sources close to the investigation consider that the material corroborates the theory that Madeleine was not victim of trafficking, as was speculated for years, but would have been killed in a short term after its disappearance.
-Brueckner, currently imprisoned for other sexual crimes, denies any link with the McCann case. However, the Braunschweig Prosecutor’s Office has reiterated that it has “concrete evidence” that point to its responsibility.
