Beijing, May 10 (Latin Press) President Chinese, Xi Jinping, ends today a state visit to Russia that also understood bilateral meetings with the leaders of Venezuela, Cuba, Slovakia, Myanmar and Serbia.
The Asian president participated in Moscow in the parade for the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patria War and held several meetings with his host counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

According to the Xinhua agency, in his dialogue with Maduro, Xi Jinping said that Venezuela and China are “reliable partners and collaborators in ”, while highlighting the made since both countries declared in 2023 a comprehensive strategic at all times.

He reiterated support for Caracas in terms of sovereignty and independence and expressed the desire to deepen , technological and cultural cooperation.

With the Cuban president, Miguel Díaz-Canel, Xi Jinping valued the solid and strategic base of bilateral links, within the framework of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations.

They agreed to strengthen South-South cooperation, boost joint development and oppose external pressures.

They also agreed to coordinate efforts in international forums such as the BRICS Group and the China-Celac forum (Community of Latin American and Caribbean States).

With the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, XI recalled the success of his visit to the country in May of the previous year and highlighted the progress achieved in the joint construction of the Chinese-Serbia destination community.

Both leaders agreed to further strengthen economic and political ties, as well as in defending multilateralism against unilateralism and commercial protection.

When speaking with the Slovak Prime Minister, Robert Fico, the Chinese president said that the strengthening of relations between China and Slovakia responds to the common interests of both peoples.

He pointed out advances in economic and commercial cooperation, and expressed the desire to continue expanding , investment and cultural exchanges.

During the encounter with the Burmese leader Min Cong Hlaing, Xi Jinping stressed the historic friendship between China and Myanmar, which he described as a relationship based on solidarity and mutual support.

He confirmed the humanitarian support provided by China after the recent in Mandalay, as well as the commitment to continue with the help for reconstruction.

The president also expressed the support of Beijing to Myanmar in his internal political .

During the meetings with these leaders, all reaffirmed the common commitment to multilateralism, international and cooperation for sustainable development.

Xi’s visit to Russia deepened the bilateral and together with Putin signed a joint statement on the deepening of the Chinese-Russia Comprehensive Coordination Strategic Association in the New Age.

In the presence of both leaders, the two countries exchanged more than 20 joint documents related to cooperation in global strategic stability, strengthening of the role of international law, biological security, investment protection, digital economy, quarantine control, cinematography and other fields.
