The National Police of Peru (PNP) captured two alleged members of a criminal organization involved in the triple homicide that occurred during a musical event in the human settlement October 1, in the Cercado de Lima, last February.
The detainees were identified as Sign Glen Matta (27) y Edwin Campos Rodríguez (30).
During the operation, carried out in a house located in the Jirón Ricardo Treneman, also in the fence, the authorities found three dynamite cartridges, ammunition, drugs, extortion messages and three motorcycles that are presumed to have been used in several criminal acts.
The crime
According to preliminary investigations, both subjects would have reached the musical event and open fire against the attendees, leaving behind an extortion note signed with the ‘Tito’ alias.

Colonel PNP Roger Cano Benítez, head of the Crime Brigade of Lima Norte, confirmed that there is communication between the detainees and Marín Macetti, who would be alias ‘Tito’, which reinforces the hypothesis that they would belong to the same criminal band.
In addition, ballistic expert opinions revealed that the caps found in the triple murder scene coincide with those used in at least eight other violent events.
The investigations continue to determine the magnitude of this organization and its responsibility in other similar crimes registered in the capital.
