As the farm gets involved in the investigation with his former partner, the chief of police officer (Johan Hedenberg), realizes that the ghosts of his past are more present than ever. The search for the missing girl forces her to confront her own trauma and to dig up dark secrets about her family and the community, sowing the doubt of whether her kidnapper could remain free and repeat her crimes.
