Officials of the National Police Corps (CPNB), attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, achieved the apprehension of a group of citizens who entered violently and illegally to a private property, posing as public officials.

The intervention occurred after a spontaneous complaint received at 1:30 p.m. by a citizen, whose identity remains in reserve in accordance with the Organic Law of Protection of Victims, Witnesses and other procedural subjects.

The complainant reported that several individuals broke into his home claiming to represent the Mayor’s Office of Guaicaipuro, to the Public Ministry, and also presenting themselves as professionals – architects and topographs – with alleged powers on the land, which they assured belonged to a third identified as Ernesto Goncalvez.

The subjects acted intimidatingly, without showing any document, court order or credentials to support their alleged authority.

Given this irregularity, a CPNB moved to the site, formally identifying and demanding the documentation corresponding to those involved, who failed to present any valid evidence of their status as officials.
