According to L’Equipe, The player’s entourage stated that the shared publication does not reflect Korbin’s thoughts at all and that she, being a Christian, only wanted to share religious content. The national team’s fans showed their disagreement and ran against the 20-year-old player. The United States team has been characterized for years by fighting discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community, as well as other social causes.
