Aníbal Mosa updates the status of Colo Colo’s claims in the TAS

A new cycle began this Friday in Colo Colo, after Aníbal Mosa regained power in Blanco y Negro and thus began his third term as president of the concessionaire. This Sunday, after the 3-1 victory at the Monumental, he had his first big test of him.

And just as in the past, the boss of the corporation appeared in La Ruca to watch the match against the cement workers. Mosa took photos, received greetings from the fans who, in general, reacted well to his arrival, mainly remembering the titles and the good campaign in the 2018 Copa Libertadores.

The challenges now are different. Colo Colo faces the challenges of the Centennial, with the mission of remodeling the Monumental Stadium and also putting together a team worthy of the 100 years of the institution. In addition, there is the mission to regain prominence at the international level.

And in the short term, Popular has other objectives. Among the most important are the club’s claims in the TAS. The first is for the case of Juan Martín Lucero and the other, even more immediate, for the punishment received by the ANFP after the incidents in the Super Cup.

Aníbal Mosa, after finishing the match against Unión La Calera, updated how both cases are going and what Blanco y Negro hopes to get after the resolutions made by the international sports court, especially in the Lucero case, with a strong economic incentive.

Regarding the incidents in the Super Cup, Mosa confirmed that Colo Colo is fighting in the international court. “We are at the TAS and we are waiting for the resolution. “That happened at least two or three weeks ago,” he stressed.

Regarding Lucero, meanwhile, he highlighted that “tomorrow I will have a meeting with the general manager. Today I met with Alejandro Paul to catch up a little, but tomorrow there will be a meeting with the lawyers to see what the situation is.”

“I understand that a few weeks ago we were about to reach an agreement with the people of Fortaleza. The evidence we present is very evident and the sports press knows the tremendous damage that Lucero caused us when he went out the window,” he added.

“Tomorrow I could talk in more detail (amounts), but in the meantime we are going to find out what this arrangement is about and if it is convenient for the club. We are going to take it after analyzing it with the board, and if it is not convenient, we will continue with our efforts,” he closed.

Juan Martín Lucero is still in Colo Colo’s sights for his controversial departure.
