Cali America is in the process of restructuring after the elimination of Liga BetPlay 2024-I and after the departure of the coaching staff headed by César Farías, the boards have begun to announce the players who will not be there for the next semester either.
Due to the non-continuity of Edward López, the second departure confirmed by the club is the experienced Victor Ibarbowho did not have much regularity and his contract was not renewed.
“Víctor Ibarbo ended his relationship with América de Cali. We appreciate his professionalism and wish him success in his sports career,” was América’s statement on his X social network.
Ibarbo’s performance in America was not crucial and in 2024 he barely played three games, while, since his arrival in mid-2023, the winger accumulated 22 games and contributed just three goals.
In this way, América continues to analyze those who do not continue and, in addition, there is expectation about who will be the coach for the second half of the League.
