América Femenil qualifies for the Concacaf Women’s Champions Cup 2024 | TUDN Concacaf Champions Cup

This Tuesday, the Concacaf W announced the eight teams classified so far, with three more to be defined and one more to be confirmed in a Preliminary Round.

In this way, América Femenil joined Tigres Femenil as the second of three teams from Mexico that will join this new competition whose draw to define the two groups of five teams each will be on June 6.

The draw will be carried out with a simple system and in two parts. First, a sphere from Pot 1 will be drawn to determine which club will host the Preliminary Round. Once confirmed, the draw for the Group Stage will begin.
Starting with Pot 2, the first club will be drawn and placed in Group A, position A1, followed by the second club in Group B, position B1. The same process will be used for Pots 3, 4, 5 and 6, always placing the first club drawn in Group A and the second club in Group B.

At the end of the group stage draw, each group will contain no more than one club from each pot, Concacaf W reported this Tuesday in a statement.

The dates of the competition have already been announced, the tournament begins with the Preliminary Round from August 13 to 15 of this year while the group stage will be from August 20 to October 17.

The Final Phase, with Semifinals, Final and Third Place will be from May 22 to 25, 2025.
