ATLANTA — Dominican Marcell Ozuna continued his torrid start to the season, hitting two more homers as the Atlanta Braves beat the Boston Red Sox 5-0 on Wednesday.

Chris Sale pitched six innings against his previous team, and Atlanta swept both games of this interleague series.

Ozuna hit a three-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in the third off an injured Nick Pivetta (1-2) in his first start since coming off the disabled list.

Sale (5-1) pitched for Boston from 2018-23, a tenure that began with a World Series championship but was marred mostly by injuries before a trade sent him to Atlanta in the winter.

The left-hander has regained the form that made him one of the most dominant starters in the Major Leagues. He reached 10 strikeouts for the 82nd time in his career and got help from left fielder Jarred Kelenic, who jumped over the yellow line at the 385-foot mark to prevent a potential Garrett Cooper home run.

For the Red Sox, Dominican Rafael Devers is 4-1. Venezuelan Wilyer Abreu 4-0.

For the Braves, the Venezuelans Ronald Acuña Jr. 3-0, Orlando Arcia 4-2 with one run scored and one RBI. Dominican Ozuna is 3-2 with two runs scored and four RBIs.
