A few days ago, Ducati announced that they would take to the track during the Sunday of the 2024 MotoGP Italian Grand Prix with motorcycles painted in blue, and they did so at the Mugello circuit. Through social networks they showed the appearance of the Desmocedici GP24 “Azzurri” Editionin honor of his home race.

In the publication on their social networks, in addition to the studio photographs, they made a brief statement in which they gave a little more context for their followers: “Passione Rossa, Cuore Azzurro! We present our Desmosedici GP “Azzurri” Edition for our great house prize in Italy! And what better occasion to show off such a special decoration for us Italians than on the day of the Festa della Repubblica!”

Thus, both Pecco Bagnaia and Enea Bastianini will start the local race for the Borgo Panigale factory wearing those blue tones, in addition to the mechanics and engineers also having equipment of the same color to celebrate that special day for the Italians. All of them will want to celebrate it in a big way, although to do so they will have to come back, since the current world champion, after his sanction for his encounter with Alex Márquez in practice, will start from fifth placewhile his teammate and compatriot will start from fourth place.

The most curious thing of all, in addition to replacing the typical Ducati red, is that the members of the team winked at the soccer team, since they have each of the names on their backs, as happens on the football elastics. . However, they do not have any number, as the two official pilots do have on their fairings.
